Co-op Snow Day

Last Friday was the highly anticipated Snow Day Field Trip for the Kids' Co-op. I tried and tried to get Ray to go with us, but had no luck. So, Cesira and I went with a couple sleds, a sack lunch and a bag for picking up trash. It was fun to see the kids, their parents and the teachers having fun in the snow, and it was a beautiful day. I took the 'big' camera with me so that the pictures would be that much nicer - if I only really knew how to use it properly, I'm sure some of the pictures would have turned out even better.

Mrs. Ferraro, Cesira's Kindergarten teacher, was at the top helping the kids get on their sleds, and even went down with them a time, or two. The kids will always remember that day.

Knowing what some of the kids are like when they are at school, I found myself surprised by how some of them were acting in the snow. I was a little surprised that some of the kids were afraid, and timid while sledding. That must be due to my always being around the snow while growing up. At the end, we were able to get most of the Kindergarten class together for a class picture.

Of, course, we had to get a silly picture too!
