Wow, there's snow!

I went into Cesira's bedroom to wake her up at 6:45 a.m. this morning, and looked outside her window for a quick weather check. The driveway was dry, the street was a little wet from the flurries last night, and the sky was full of clouds. So, we went downstairs to begin our usual morning activities since today was the first day back to school after winter break.

I turn the local news on when I got downstairs to see what was in store for the weather today. They had mentioned snow was sticking somewhere in Las Vegas, so I looked outside. Sure enough, it was snowing here. I just HAD to grab my camera!

When we opened to garage door to head off to school, this is what we saw:

I had to take another picture of the house after the interesting trip to school. I just think snow on palm trees is funny!

It will all be gone by the time I pick the kids up from school. Bummer...
